Director at Large (2 positions available):
|
Susan Murphy - BlueKey Realty
|
I am a full-time REALTOR® licensed with NLAR for approximately 8 years, and have been serving as a Director at Large for the past 2 years. I also was elected as a member of the NLAR Executive, and am the Chair of the MLS® Rules and Forms Committee.
I was born and raised in St John’s and continue to live in the west end with my husband of 34 years, having raised our two grown children on the same street where I grew up. I have 34+ years as a Legal Assistant, Bookkeeper and Office Manager with a few St. John’s law firms, specializing in closing residential and commercial real estate transactions. My knowledge and experience is a superpower all my clients benefit from. I value integrity, honesty and loyalty above all else, and really enjoy being part of our community and our Association.

Keith Soper - Keller Williams Platinum Realty
|
With over 20 years as a licensed REALTOR®, I bring a wealth of experience in real estate, business, and volunteer leadership. Having previously served as an NLAR Board member and contributed to various committees and boards across multiple industries, I understand the importance of strong leadership in fostering growth and innovation.
As an active professional dedicated to expanding both our real estate brokerage in Newfoundland and Labrador and my own real estate business practice, I firmly believe that an organization’s greatest asset is it's culture. A welcoming and inclusive environment - where diverse perspectives are valued - creates the foundation for success.
My past experiences with CREA, NLAR, and other organizations have only reinforced this belief. If elected as an NLAR Director, I will leverage my expertise and leadership to support the Association’s strategic objectives and serve as a catalyst for progress. I have seen firsthand how this industry changes lives, and I am committed to giving back to the profession that has given me so much.
I would be honoured to serve and ask for your support in moving NLAR forward.

Andrew Winsor - Royal LePage Vision Realty
|
Hey I’m Andrew, and I’ve been a licensed REALTOR® for over 10 years and except for the occasional moment of frustration, it has been a rather enjoyable experience. After the completion of my business degree and not wanting the confines of an everyday desk job, my entrepreneurial skills and passion to help others has led me to this rewarding career. I have served on a couple of NLAR’s committees, including the MLS® committee, where we have had the privilege to recommend modifications to the rules and regulations for our members. I am eager to serve as a Board Member to address the industry's upcoming changes and challenges effectively. Our Association needs active and experienced members to get involved, so I will do my part to ensure we move forward and help create a better experience for all.

Broker Director (1 position available):
|
Bobby Gorman - Outport Realty
|
After enjoying a 20 year career in Medical Device Sales and Sales Management, Bobby moved to Twillingate to start a sea kayaking company. Due to the seasonality of a kayaking business, Bobby took advantage of the lack of representation in the Twillingate area and developed his real estate business with RE/MAX before starting Outport Realty.
With the goal of improving different aspects of how NLAR supports its members, Bobby accepted the 2023 nomination of Broker Director and sits on the MLS Committee. Throughout the last two years, Bobby has been a thorn in the side as he challenged the NLAR staff to strive for meaningful change. Believing there is more to be done, Bobby continues to advocate for all members.

Devin Sparkes - EXIT Realty Aspire
|
I have never hid away from a challenge. At 16 years old I joined the Canadian Armed Forces as a Combat Engineer in 2011 and served until recently. The CAF has given me the confidence and leadership skills needed for this role. While working full time in the CAF I became a REALTOR® in June 2021.
In April the following year I opened a small business, Between D'Lines Driving School, and found the pride and passion I have for building and growing a business. Again not hiding away from a challenge I took on the greatest one of all in Sept 2023 with opening EXIT Realty Aspire in St. John’s and acquiring the Clarenville and Bay Roberts location less than a year later.
I live in Torbay with my supportive Wife Leanna and my daughters Haisley and Leila.
I appreciate all who vote for me. Thank you for the opportunity.
