The Newfoundland and Labrador Association of REALTORS® Past Presidents Scholarship Fund provides up to two (2) scholarships valued at CDN $2,000 each to qualifying individuals entering post-secondary education at an accredited university or college anywhere in the world. 

The award is made annually, although NLAR may choose not to make an award or only award one scholarship in any year. Deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, October 23, 2026 at 4:00 PM. 

Selection of successful applicants will be finalized by Tuesday, October 27, 2026. 

Applicants must use this form and include proof of acceptance at a post-secondary institution. Only completed applications submitted on the approved form will be accepted. 

Eligible Individuals include immediate family members of:

• Currently active REALTORS® (minimum of 12 months current, active license)
• Retired REALTORS® who were active members for at least 20 years and who are retired less than 5 years
• Honorary Life Members – REALTOR®
• Current NLAR staff
• Current office staff of brokerages operating in NL. 

“Immediate family member” includes spouse, son, daughter, parent, sibling, or grandchild. 

Criteria: Applicants must demonstrate above-average scholastic performance and are judged on additional criteria such as a good citizenship and school/community involvement. 

The Selection: Applications must be received at the NLAR office no later than October 23, 2026.
