About

Melissa grew up in a small community on the Bonavista Peninsula and is no stranger to hard work and the entrepreneurial sprit. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Education degree. After spending a few years teaching she switched gears and moved into marketing and event planning but after 5 years of working for somebody else Melissa decided to take a risk and step out on her own to follow her passion and started in real estate in November 2014.

Since starting her career in real estatee Melissa has become an award winning Realtor® helping her clients buy and sell in St. John’s and surrounding areas. Melissa joined the 3% family in July 2017 where she started a real estate team that has grown and evolved into what it is today... Hynes Home Co. A team with a modern approach to buying and selling real estate with hundreds of happy clients who save thousands of dollars every year and become more educated about their real estate investments.
